In this game that saw Holy Family play two men down for the majority of the game, Severance Boys Soccer did what they had to do. Although not always pretty, the Silver Knights prevailed by a score of 4-1. The four goals were scored by Dalton Lesser, Tyler DiPietro, Kilian Schultz, and Jordan Thompson. Jordan also grabbed the assist on the first goal of the game via a corner kick that found Dalton Lesser’s head on the back post. The header was a great finish from Dalton, this marked the second game in a row in which the Silver Knights found the back of the net on a corner kick. Man of the Match in this one goes to Jordan Thompson who has really started to understand his role within the team, and how important his defensive effort is.

The Silver Knights (6-4-2) travel to Frontier Academy on Wednesday for a rematch of earlier in the year which saw the game end in a 2-2 tie. This is the second to last game of the season and will serve as a vital tune-up for the game against Windsor. These next two games will prove to be great opportunities for the Silver Knights to evaluate where they are as they move into their first ever Varsity season in 2020.
