Varsity Cross Country · All Athletes Earned Season PRs at the Wolverine XC Invite 9/13/19

  Place Points
Severance High School 17th 497

This years Wolverine Invite was the largest in meet history. The spectator friendly course offered athletes a variety of surfaces to train on including grass, concrete, and packed dirt, with a few gradual inclines at the long stretches of the course. All athletes that competed today earned a season PR! Our high school athletes were inspired by Severance Middle School runners, who ran just before the high schoolers. Both the male and female 5k records for our school were beat on Friday night. Alexis Ajpacaja, Freshman, knocked out his previous record time, and ran a 20:10 5K. Kayden Tafoya, Sophomore, ran a 23:08. She is right on track to get her overall PR this season. She ran for Windsor high school last year and is one of the team captains this year for our new team.
