Boys Varsity Football · Continuing to Adapt: live stream available for football games

Click here to live stream Severance football at Arvada 12:00pm.

The 2020-2021 school year has been nothing short of unique and while there has been countless compromises and regulations put into play, Severance High School’s players, parents, and coaches will continue to adapt and make changes as necessary in order to participate in the fall football season. After many requests, and much anticipation, the Colorado High School Activity Association approved several outdoor sports including football and cheer/dance as of September 16, 2020.

According to an article by the Greeley Tribune, all 16 schools that play football in Weld County chose to participate this fall and nearly 80% of all football programs across Colorado opted for the fall season rather than the spring. Not much has changed when it comes to social distancing and the mandatory state order for masks. While many teams have been given the green light, restrictions include the limitation of spectators, players on each roster, coaches, managers, etc. resulting from the pandemic. Each player has received a set number of tickets for family/friends and a lottery system has been set up to purchase extra tickets for each game. Please visit severanceathletics.com for opposing team live spectator expectations.

Severance High School will be live streaming each game for those who cannot attend in person and/or did not receive tickets. A month subscription for event live streams will be $9.99 on NFHS Network
