Silver Knights News · Volleyball travels to Fort Collins for Rocky Mountain Invitational

The Silver Knights finished 2-2 today against their toughest competition yet at the Rocky Mountain High School JV Invitational.  After a slow start to the morning the Silver Knights found their game and defeated Poudre and Horizon in their afternoon matches. The girls lost their morning matches against Rocky and Loveland.  They were able to correct their mistakes and move forward as a team.  Anna Crownhart and Paige Janke led the team with strong serving while Zoey Bauer dominated at the net.  Just returning from a 8 week injury Zoey was strong offensively and led the Silver Knights with kills for the day.  Both Kelsey Koza and Lilly Lenart contributed tremendously to our offense as well. Tournament days are good for the girls.  It helps build mental strength and allows for a lot of coaching opportunties. Proud of these ladies today and looking forward to a re-match against Mead this Friday!
