The Silver Knight varsity boys golf team wrapped up their first, and last, Tri-Valley season today at The Olde Course in Loveland. Conference re-alignment happens next year, offering a fresh start and new competition on the links. Overall, it was a successful league campaign with the Silver Knights showing improvement over much of the short season before rounding off the past few weeks with some solid outings. Today was no different, as the team placed 9th of 11 teams, with freshman Brycen Farris leading the way, shooting a personal best for the season 89, good for 25th place as an individual. Sophomore Carson Fagan was a few shots back, claiming 29th place, followed by freshmen Ian Reynolds in 37th and Patrick Maxwell at 47th. Next up is the Windsor Invitational on Thursday, September 19th at Pelican Lakes before the team heads to Murphy Creek in Aurora for the 3-A regional tournament on September 24th.
