Boys Junior Varsity Golf, Boys Varsity Golf · First JV competition and more improvement from the varsity

The third Tri-Valley event has wrapped up from Saddleback Golf Course in Firestone, with some individual improvement and the first JV competition completed. Some tough holes once again got the best of the Silver Knights, but overall improvement was seen as Sophomore Austin Guerette shot a team and season best 88, good for 28th place in individual competition. Freshmen Brycen Farris and Patrick Maxwell showed consistency in their scores, finishing 42nd and 43rd, respectively. Sophomore Carson Fagan finished at 46th, followed by Freshman Ryder Atkinson, at 49th for the Silver Knights. The heat played a factor today, but as usual the guys battled to the finish, showing steady improvement throughout their rounds. The JV group all finished within two strokes of each other, demonstrating consistency and solid overall scores for their first competitive rounds of the season. The team will head to Coyote Creek in Fort Lupton on Thursday for the Frederick Invitational in pursuit of further improvement.
